We Stand with the Sidebottoms

I can only imagine how it would feel to wake in the middle of the night to an armed intruder in your home. He didn’t just violate their space- he came ready to hurt or kill. The anger and fear these parents must have felt with their babies in the next room must have been terrible.

Our friends, David and Haley (Cherms) Sidebottom were struck with when this happened to them. Many of you know them and how awesome they are. An intruder has changed everything for them. He came into their home in the middle of the night with a stolen handgun. In the midst of the shooting David was hit and is now paralyzed. Your continued prayers have been amazing, thank you!

This is a close, loving family. David’s recovery is going to be long & tough. 

This was not a first for the intruder. Sadly the laws here in our state keep releasing these people. This family’s life will never be the same. Their children will never again feel safe in their own home! The holes in the walls will be a constant reminder of that horrific night. It could have been any one of us.
