I am starting this fund for the legal expenses of Danielle Bustos. This brave young woman, a mother of 2, took her stand against Espanola Mayor John Ramon Vigil by sharing her story, raising her voice and saying NO MORE. A job should NEVER cost someone their dignity. City Manager Jordan Yutzy was suspended when he chose to do the right thing and process Danielle's written complaint. Blocked by the Acting City Manager and incompetent HR Director (Huge conflict of interest) Sally Baxter.

Danielle is fighting for her job, her safety, her family and the well-being of a community. The current Mayor John Ramon Vigil has a history of corruption and verbal abuse toward staff. Thanks to Danielle's bravery, our city is finally getting some attention on the corruption of John Ramon Vigil and his enablers. One of them is the wealthy Richard Lucero, former Mayor, business owner and accused pedophile. Danielle doesn't have that kind of money but that's when good people - Buena Gente - can come together and make a stand to support Danielle. Most lawyers will not work pro bono and a good employment law attorney is going to charge her. This is a case against a City Mayor. She needs our help.
