We Support Kenya Wilkins - We Are A Team Forever

Kenya Wilkins is first and foremost a great friend and family member to many, and an invaluable contributor to the Eugene community.
He also just happens to be a renowned inductee to the University of Oregon Athletics Hall of Fame.
Kenya is in large part a UO Hall of Fame member because the last two decades of success enjoyed by Oregon men’s basketball could not have happened without him. After being recruited to Oregon from Los Angeles’s Dorsey High School by legendary assistant coach Bobby Braswell, Kenya introduced a levelheadedness to the position of point guard that was one part inclusiveness - allowing teammates to shine - and the other part individual responsibility - welcoming his own scoring opportunities when the situation demanded.
In 1995, with Kenya Wilkins at the helm, Oregon Men's Basketball reached the NCAA Tournament for the first time in 34 years. Together with the inspirational 1994-95 Oregon Rose Bowl football squad, Oregon Men's Basketball garnered renewed attention from Nike founder Phil Knight, inspiring his financial support that led to the modern era of Oregon athletics.
Currently, Kenya is in a time of need. We all know the person that Kenya is and can be, and if substances are getting in the way, let's all help to unrid these obstacles. We all know the world is better off with a healthy leader like Kenya. If you can help out in any way to provide assistance Kenya needs AND DESIRES, please donate below.
Thanks so much for supporting this great friend and exceptional individual. Please understand that we respect the privacy of Kenya and his family, so please do not share this link without first checking in with (another Oregon legend) Luke Jackson at [email redacted] or [phone redacted].
Thanks,
Jonathan "Jon" Mitchell
