We are Kenley’s Crew! What an amazing Community we have!

The amount of love and support we have received for Kenley is truly amazing and unbelievably inspiring and appreciated. I want to thank everyone sincerely for your selflessness. Whether it was a donation, participating in the 5K, a text message, or wishful thoughts. None of this has gone unnoticed. We were able to raise an incredible amount of money and for that we are so thankful.

With that being said, our community is so amazing, that people have been contacting me nonstop to keep the love going! I have re-activated this go fund me because the unbelievable support for our fellow Eddie has been something truly remarkable.

As I sit here and try to think of all of the right words to say in order to update everyone on Kenley, I am immediately taken to her laugh. Her big, beautiful, undeniable laugh. It’s a laugh that would make anyone smile on their darkest days.

David, Olivia, Kenley and Gunner have been courageous to share Kenley’s update. From Olivia- “ So far there isn’t a Doctor in the world who has seen a Rhabdomyosarcoma case like Kenley’s. There have been 8 studies for the last 200 years with the primary sight (Kenley’s first Cancer diagnosis) of the Cancer being in the Reproductive System. There have been zero studies on Rhabdomyosarcoma moving from the face to the abdomen and or reproductive system. It is completely unheard of. As of now, there are a couple treatment options for Kenley, both will be hard and long on her body. Kenley is currently in Stage 4 cancer and unfortunately has the worst type of Rhabdomyosarcoma there is- Alveolar Rhabdomyosarcoma. Her lymph nodes tested negative for Cancer, which is a positive but of the 9-12 biopsies they did on her abdomen, they did test positive. The Doctors will be doing more testing to make sure the Cancer is not in her bones and do a genetic test to see if she is carrying some sort of syndrome that is causing the Cancer to come back and bounce all over the place”.

Although there is absolutely nothing I wouldn’t give in order to take this away for the Ragsdale family, I know I cannot do that. We will however do everything we possibly can in order to keep her spirits up and help them along the way. As many of you already know, this is Kenley’s second battle with Cancer. She absolutely crushed it the first time! I know Kenley is a hero to many, including Averie and my whole family.

I have had numerous people reach out to ask how they can help, I think this is a good first step, as the bills from Kenley‘s first battle are still overwhelming and daunting. Please keep David, Olivia, Kenley, Gunner and the entire Ragsdale family in your thoughts as they navigate through these uncharted waters.
