Weather Resilience Fund
Tax deductible
Record-breaking heat waves, intense storms, widespread flooding, severe droughts, and deadly wildfires are becoming more frequent and more costly. Far too often, the people who can least afford to absorb financial losses are the most impacted.
This uptick in weather-related disasters – and the related toll on human health, property and prosperity – is illustrated by countless fundraisers on the GoFundMe platform.
In 2023, more than $106M was raised for natural disaster relief and recovery on GoFundMe. As these crises become a predictable aspect of modern life, we must also invest in and support resilience efforts, empowering people and communities with the resources and tools they need to prepare, adapt, and thrive in the face of these threats.
This Weather Resilience Fund will support local resilience efforts, ensuring that vulnerable communities are better prepared for, and can adapt to, increasingly intense weather conditions and weather-fueled natural disasters.
Grants from this charitable fund will go towards promoting individual and community-based resilience efforts. Donations to this fund are tax-deductible, and donors will be updated regularly on the impact made possible by your generosity.
Every single dollar matters. Your donation, whether $10, $50 or $500, means more direct support for people and communities bearing the brunt of extreme weather emergencies.
