Hope for two kids

Donation protected

A group of us, Canadian
residents from Burlington, Oakville and Mississauga came together in the joint effort to sponsor a lovely Syrian Palestinian family consisting of young parents and two little kids, who after much ordeal and suffering from Syrian war and exile now live strained in Accra, Ghana. The family has a full UN refugee status and qualify to be sponsored by a group of private citizens, per Canada Immigration private sponsorship program. This program
is truly an unique and amazing chance to help vulnerable families and has been showing incredible success rate.
My name is Vania Davidovic, from Oakville and I lead a social media group called Canadian Sponsors. Along my side are Aorwa, Nasim, Nour, My and Lynn.
I have been involved with similar sponsorships for the last three years and have helped number of families, working along my generous volunteer friends Coast to Coast in Canada. I befriended this lovely refugee family of four over the last two years using facebook and live chats; young parents with sweet girl of 7 and boy of 9 . They have been living as refugees in Lebanon for the first two years and now have been in Ghana for over four ... without a real home and any stability. Dad luckily got a job in a local soap and detergent factory as he is a talented small entrepreneur but this just covers their very basic needs.

We, a team of private sponsors, would love to bring them to Canada and give these kids opportunity for happy childhood and a country to call their own. The children are delightful and sweet, english speaking and studying hard after we helped them financially to go back to school.
Children’s mom is just 28 years old and should have access to medical care and regular blood transfusions to control her medical condition, thalassemia. It is a serious blood disorder that normal medical care can regulate and maintain well. Her illness is not well controlled in Ghana as this is condition endemic for Middle East and Mediterranean but not well known in Africa. The medical conditions that family has access to are poor, so blood transfusions or intervention in public hospitals carry additional risks... Even though the family has a full refugee status they get no help from UN. Mom tried every single avenue of getting more medical help with no success so far ... Her condition is worsening and we are worried.
To bring them to Canada, a total of 28,000 canadian dollars needs to be raised as per Immigration Canada requirements for family’s first year upon relocation to Canada. So far we were able to raise about 6,000 dollars through private offline donations and a related campaign lead by our volunteer friend, Lora P.
Funds collected in this campaign will be used for:
-paying the monthly rental of the apartment  through the year one,
-basic furniture,
-clothing, food, transport and school expenses
- all other living expenses for the familu in the first year
Budgeting plan is done by us, sponsors ahead of submitting the file to Immigration Canada and expenses are overseen by sponsoring team in the first year of the family’s settlement.
The amount raised will be linked and money deposited to an account opened specifically for them. This account must be opened and cosigned by two sponsors.
Please join us by donating and making this a rewarding experience for all involved and give a new life to this well deserving, peaceful and loving family.
We promise you will not regret it.

Thank you
Vania Davidovic and a group of  sponsors (Aorwa, Nasim, Nour, My and Lynn)
