Wedding and Permanent Resident Funds

Hey, it's Brock and Kenzie! As you all know, we've been together since 2018, moved in together (across the vast seas) in 2020, got engaged in November of this year, and are going to be getting married in January 2022.
Recently, there's been a lot of expenses, and things are quite stressful financially. Just in the next month or so, we will have had:
- The wedding expenses
- Birthday trip/honeymoon (yes before we get married) to Vegas coming up in 2 weeks.
- Vet expenses, with our cat Brimstone being really sick the last few weeks. She has improved now, and is back to her beautiful spunky self mostly. But the vet bills still had to be paid.
- My permanent residence sponsorship process beginning (this itself is $1050, plus biometrics etc fees)
- Other personal health issues
We're not going to have a big wedding for financial reasons, and because of the covid situation. As well as the fact that many of our loved ones are across the pond, and travelling is so uncertain at the moment. We don't want to put the pressure on people to have to travel during this time.
But we do still want to celebrate our love, and have a special day.
So, we're not telling anyone that they should donate at all. But just asking that if people would like to contribute something, instead of a wedding gift etc. to help out, especially with the visa stuff, that would be amazing.
Once again, we're not telling anyone to donate. It is right before Christmas, and covid has been tough financially for a lot of people, and sometimes you just don't have the money to spend. Also honestly? You might not want to even if you do. And that is totally okay and we completely understand. We know you still love and care for us. But if people want to, the link is there.
