Wedge Family Fire Relief Fund

My name is Kayla Lassalle. I am the niece of Michael and Kathy Wedge.

Kathy and Michael had a fire in their travel trailer on February 25, 2021. Their trailer was their permanent home.  Kathy and Michael were able to get out, but they could not get their three beloved dogs before the fire swept through the trailer. They lost all three, Jack , Nola, and Roxie. Kathy suffered burns and smoke inhalation. She was in the burn unit at University Medical Center in New Orleans. She is doing much better and has been released. Michael has 2nd degree burns on his feet, but did not have any issues that required hospitalization. The trailer was a complete loss and they lost everything in the fire. They are currently staying with family while recovering.
