Help Jo Nguyen Represent CA’s 17th Congressional District at the Democratic National Convention

Hey, all! I'm thrilled to announce that I have been elected as a delegate for California's 17th Congressional District to the 2024 Democratic National Convention (DNC) with an endorsement from Governor Gavin Newsom!

I'm Jo Nguyen, the child of Vietnamese refugees and a proud Berryessa resident with a passion for public service and building community. I was recently elected to the Santa Clara County Democratic Party Central Committee representing the 24th Assembly District and am an active member of the Silicon Valley Young Democrats.

By day, I work for the California State Assembly, handling constituent services and community engagement in the communities of San José, Milpitas, Fremont, Newark, and Sunol. By night, I serve as a Parks and Recreation Commissioner for the City of San José where I’m committed to creating inclusive, accessible, and beautiful public spaces. When I’m not working, you’ll find me exploring our beautiful parks and attending local events in CD-17!

It's crucial to not only elect young people, but also diverse individuals who reflect the communities they serve within the Democratic Party. At 22, I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to represent CD-17 and champion progressive values and policies on the national stage.

However, attending the DNC comes with significant expenses, including travel, hotels, and other related costs, which is why I am turning to you for support to help cover these expenses.
