Help Stop World Hunger

Imagine that you and your family living in a more developed country switched houses, income, food sources with a family living in Somalia (the most malnourished country). Presume not eating for weeks, with no energy to do daily activities. Envision having to work on a stomach that hasn’t had any meals for weeks, and even after working hard hours, you still wouldn’t have enough food to feed yourself and your family. This scenario is the life of the hungry.
Who it affects
-Hunger affects children because they have weak immune systems, and their bodies and brains are still under development
o Mostly women, and girls experience hunger (due to gender inequality in wages) 60% of the world’s people with chronic hunger are female due to poverty, and gender inequality
o Each day, 25,000 people, including more than 10,000 children, die from hunger and related causes
o 854 million people worldwide are estimated to be undernourished, and high food prices may drive another 100 million into poverty and hunger.
WHY IT OCCURS
People in less-developed countries have a lower income compared to more-developed countries. This is because there are still a lot of farm holders. Even if income is lower, food prices in less-developed countries are considerably higher.
WHAT YOU CAN DO
You can donate to my GoFundMe. Other than this, you can also give monetary donations to charities that feed the hungry.
here is a list of charities
-FOOD BANKS CANADA
-COMMUNITY FOOD CENTRES CANADA
-HARVEST
You can always donate long-shelved goods (you can give them to Harvest)
My goal is to raise $100 and get 100 cans or boxes of food. To do this, I’ll need your help.
