Snow Whites Emergency Hospital Fund

Hello,

Our names are Lanndon and Jonathan, kitty parents to Snow White.

We have been together for 7 years and a year into our relationship we decided to get our first fur child. We found Snow White at a beautiful home where she was up for adoption. Funny story, we were the second people to claim her however we wanted her SO bad that we paid extra for her because we knew we had to bring her into our life.

4 years ago we brought another fur child into our life. Our Bengal baby Aurora. Aurora instantly attached to Snow White as a mother figure. They love cuddling together and cleaning each other. Aurora will come to us and I will say "Aurora! Wheres mom? Go find Mom!" she will run and lie down right next to Snow White. The two are absolutely inseparable.

2 weeks ago Snow White started acting funny...

We noticed that she had become very picky with her food. We tried countless brands, hard food, wet food, treats. She didn't like anything... getting her to eat had become a struggle. So we decided to take her to the vet for a health and safety checkup about a week ago. They ran some tests and diagnosed her with Diabetes, which under normal circumstances is not a huge deal. Insulin every 12 hours. We were prepared to take care of her and do anything we can to help her live a normal life.

Now the news we were not expecting. They ran an additional test and found that she had "ketones" in her urine. They told us that she could have pancreatitis... and they gave her a 50/50 chance of survival. They recommended she be rushed to an ICU Urgent Care in Studio City. She has been on liquid IV and insulin every 2 hours.

We got news yesterday evening that she had been eating herself and that she might be able to come home and be with us and Aurora. Well... we got news this morning from the vet that she didn't eat all night and they recommended she stay another 24 hours in the ICU. They told us that they did a scan of her liver and pancreas and that there is a chance that she may have Cancer. They are now putting her on a stomach feeding tube and taking a sample from the inside area to see if it is Cancer.

Our hearts are broken. We went to visit her today in the ICU and she was very weak however the doctor has hope for her recovery...

As you can imagine we will do anything we can for our pet children as they are our entire lives and our companions. Anyone who has lost a pet or has had a pet for a long time can understand the pain we are going through. Both emotionally and financially.

Snow Whites vet bills so far total over $9,000. Thats not even knowing yet if she has cancer or not.

This has become very financially strenuous on our lives so we are asking for any sort of help whatsoever. As you can see we are not asking for the entire vet bill to be covered as we are aware she is our responsibility. We are just asking for some help. Whether it is a donation, a share or even a heartfelt prayer... Anything is greatly appreciated.

Thank You.

-Lanndon, Jonathan, Aurora and Snow White.
