Welch Senior Center Building Addition

Tax deductible
We are building an addition to the Welch Senior Center. This addition will include a senior activities room, classroom, and conference room. This will allow us to expand the dining room in the current center to meet our demand.

More information about McDowell County Commission on Aging, Inc.: Established in 1973, the MCCOA functions as a multi-service, non-profit, community-based program. Our purpose is to maintain and improve daily life for seniors, the disabled, and their caregivers through advocacy, education, promotion of wellness, and provision of support services.

The estimated cost is $287,500 and we are almost there! We have a challenge from a local family - if we raise $35,000 - they will give us $35,000! That will complete the project!
