Welch Chapel's Renovation Fund
Donation protected
Welch Chapel Christian Methodist Episcopal (CME) Church has spent three thousand seven hundred eleven dollars and forty-six cents ($3,711.46) of the $3,756.50 raised through August 2018. A figure of fifty thousand (50K) dollars was projected to renovate the church in December 2016. Phase 1 called for the replacement of the roof and the repainting of the kitchen and the ceiling. This occurred during the third and fourth weeks of August 2018.
As we begin Phase 2 to replace the interior flooring that was improperly laid over forty (40) years ago, along with creating parking spaces along side of the church with disability signage, we again ask for your donations.
For the calendar year 2018, please be reminded that any donation to the church is tax-deductible, as we are a 501
(c ) 3 not- for- profit organization. Annually, we come together to share our blessings and give thanks at a Thanksgiving Dinner, which is held on the Saturday before Thanksgiving .This year for the second time, it will be held as a community dinner @ The Senior Center on Main Street (November 17, 2018). Mayor Eddie Cooper will be in attendance.
We accept checks or credit cards, along with cash. Checks can be made payable and mailed as follows:
