Hello everyone. If you’ve followed me over the past year and a half, you know I’ve gone through a lot of medical difficulties, ranging from having to take on a massive amount of medical debt to having to change jobs. If you don’t know me, let me tell you about me.
My name is Cy and in 2023, I had a life-changing disabling event that has continued to affect my health into this year. I’ve had a very long struggle due to job insecurity, having to pay my own medical bills out of pocket, and workplace mistreatment in my previous job.
Yet I’ve been given so much kindness to help me through, to the level that I’m often speechless with gratitude. I’m grateful I’ve survived in spite and inclusive of everything. There’s power in being here to tell the tale and hopefully, see my life change for the better as I continue treatment and receive more medical assistance.
But I’ve got one final hurdle: moving. I have to relocate by August 1st, and I need help making that happen so that I can transition from a life of hardship and constantly living in survival mode to hopefully…thriving.

- Covering my initial moving fees, including assisting with the first payments on my apartment
- Hiring professional movers or paying others to help me move my items, including possible renting a U-Haul for the process
- Getting necessary things like an a/c unit, which is crucial to my health as a disabled individual & diabetic living with POTS
- Assisting me with establishing transportation to continue with routine treatments and doctor’s appointments
Life changes are incredibly hard, but it’s my sincerest hope that I’ll be able to move and thrive. I’m so close to being able to live and not just exist: thank you for helping me start to live again through your kindness.
