WELCOME IN! - Film about Depersonalization in the workforce

WELCOME IN! is a psychological drama about a dissociated store greeter who avoids their reflection, and their bizarre interaction with a potential shoplifter. The whole narrative, up until the end, will be told without showing this character's face.

Why? This film is about the erosion of identity in the modern workforce, where people are valued as a service more than a person. Most people nowadays have felt this experience. Most people have struggled with bills to go to a job that pays little and treats them poorly. Most people have felt this level of depersonalization from their work. To donate to this film is to help create a film that recognizes this feeling.

More about the story? The story is about this feeling of not belonging in your own body. Of purely being used for a corrupt, greedy agenda filled with superfluous rules. It follows our retail worker, the Greeter, as they do their day to day activites. They are told to kick someone out the store for shoplifting, only to be complimented by this person. As they continue talking, they realize that their manager may of been profiling this person when they told them to kick them out. What follows is their attempt to break free from this hole they find themselves in, only to be brought back down to reality.
