Support Therese & Dan to grieve Calin Butcher

Hello, I’m Tessa and I originally setup this GoFundMe in 2022 to support my beautiful friend Therese and her family throughout their NICU journey with their son Arden who was born at 31 weeks gestation weighing less than a kilogram.

This Christmas, Therese and Dan were overjoyed to announce their family had received a very exciting gift - Baby Butcher is coming and expected to arrive sometime in Winter 2024.

Navigating pregnancy after the loss of a child is incredibly challenging on so many levels and so I have decided to update this GoFundMe in case anyone in Therese and Dan’s wider community has the capacity to provide any support.

Heartbreakingly, on the 9th January 2024, Baby Calin Butcher was born at home much too early - having passed away and gone to the stars to be with his big brother Arden.

Funds raised will be used to support Dan to take some time off work and whatever supportive care Therese requires as she heals from surgery after losing a lot of blood during the birth.

Arden’s Story

Devastatingly the divine, ‘tiny but mighty’ Arden grew his wings…

Held close to his Mum and Dad’s hearts, he peacefully passed away surrounded by a depth of love most of us could only dream of.

Funds raised were gratefully used for Arden’s cremation and for Daniel to be home as long as possible with Therese and their girls Carmen and Riley so that they may grieve their son and little brother.
