WELDER GIRL Heather Lentz's Fire Recovery Fund
Donation protected
Last Friday morning a fire broke out at M0xy, an Oakland artist warehouse where Heather AKA Welder Girl had her bustling welding business www.theweldergirl.com. Within hours, her entire workshop was completely burned to the ground along with 18 years of her accumulated tools, heavy machinery, welded products, as well as most of her personal belongings and sporting goods which were also stored there. Thankfully, no one was hurt in the fire.
Those of you who know Heather, know she’s a sweet woman who has built her own business from the ground up over the past few years. She makes colorful steel plant holders for air plants that add sparkle and life to people’s homes, and she’s also known for making kinky canopy beds, custom furniture, and large outdoor sculptures. She’s invested everything into the tools which she uses to make a living, and now everything is gone.
To recover some of the estimated $30,000 worth of fabrication equipment and belongings that she’s lost so that she can make a new start, get back on her feet, and buy some of the things that she needs, Heather needs our help.
Here's a news report on NBC, about the fire, which features Heather: https://www.nbcbayarea.com/on-air/as-seen-on/Officials-Investigate-Warehouse-Fire-in-Oakland_Bay-Area-531320711.html
If you are in a position to help, please show her a little love by contributing whatever feels right for you. Thank you.
