Wellman Fire Recovery Fund

On April 15th, while Garrett, Taylor, and their two boys (Harrison and Gabe) were at home, their house was struck by lightning and immediately caught fire. Luckily, due to their swift actions, they were able to get both boys and their dogs out safely. They planned to have the damaged areas cleaned and restored.

Unfortunately, early in the morning on April 16th, the house re-caught fire, and the inside of their 2nd story was completely destroyed. They are being told the house may need to be leveled and rebuilt. This process could take 12-18 months.

The Wellmans are a wonderful Shipley's family and they are always doing good deeds for others. Many people have reached out to see how they can assist them in this terrible time. They are currently being assisted by the Red Cross and by their insurance, but there are things they need in the meantime. Taylor is in her 3rd trimester (due with a baby girl in June) and this has been incredibly stressful for her, so I want to alleviate some of that stress by raising funds for their immediate needs, such as maternity clothes, shoes, food, toiletries, etc. All monies received will go directly to the Wellmans. Anything not used will be donated back to the American Red Cross.

Thank you!!
