Wells of Love: Sydney and Justin’s Mission to Kenya

Mathew 28:19 "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations"

This coming August, my brother (Justin) and myself (Sydney) will be traveling back to Kenya on a mission trip. We will be going with our church, Christian Church in the Wildwood, and about 15 other members. The main purpose of this mission is to share the Gospel. We will be ministering to orphans, vulnerable children, and young adults, as well as showing the love of Christ to the community in Narok. Most of you know our great love for children and how much sharing the gospel with children means to us. We are hoping this trip will not just bring the gospel to the children, but to their communities once we leave and the kids go back home, sharing what they learned.

When Sydney went to Kenya the first time, she connected with a little boy named Liam and started sponsoring him every month for his schooling and food. By going back, she will be able to see him again and check in with him in person.

Justin is sponsoring Michael, who is in college to learn computers and create a better life for his family and those around him in Kenya. He is a strong believer in the Lord and grateful for the meaningful relationship we’ve formed.

We will be visiting a mission called "Africa Hope Kenya". Our Church (CCW) has been supporting this mission for several years. Our church has donated funds to build three wells there. Africa Hope has programs for church ministry, orphans, vulnerable children, education, food, water, and health development. They also have a website for your consideration, "africahope.org".

This trip is funded entirely through donations. We are humbly asking you to consider supporting us financially. The cost will be approximately $4500 per person. This allows for travel, food, and lodging. Any extra we raise will be going towards the mission or another member of the trip who needs more financial help.
