Help Ronda Kick Cancer's Ass!

Hello! Thank you for taking the time to look at the campaign we have set up for our friend Ronda Hampton. I wouldn't be able to say any better than Ronda herself what exactly is going on with her health, so I have shared information she posted on her FaceBook page as a way to let you all know what is going on:
"Hey Facebook friends
I don't know if there is a good way to begin this post so I'm just gonna get to it. I am having surgery on 10/27 to remove one of my breasts (& the cancer that currently resides there.) At the same time they will begin the process of reconstruction (better? faster? stronger?)
We found the cancer (ductual carcinoma ) fairly early (stage 2) so the prognosis is good. I may not even have to have radiation, but we'll know more after the surgery.
I will be taking some time off from both jobs to recover. The amount of time depends on the outcome of surgery & what kind of follow-up treatment is needed. I'll have a rock star caregiver to help me heal. G has promised to cater to my every need. I had to stop both my mom & my sister from flying out to help & it is so reassuring to know I have that kind of support.
I have insurance now, which is making this a lot easier to navigate & probably saved my life (shout out ACA!) The bills keep coming but at least they are only a percentage & I am able to get the care I need.
Thank you to my friends & family that have received this news in late night texts, or rambling whiny texts, or blurted short form & responded with such love. You've given me the priceless gift of feeling less alone in this.
Also, to my friends & family that have gone thru some form of this cancer bs & handled it with more grace than I feel capable of, you are my heroes.
Bottom line...this sucks, I'm doing okay & I'll get better.

Ronda is not only a friend of our's but she also helps bartend at our restaurant, The Coronado PHX. As she stated above, she will be taking some time off of both her jobs in order to get better. The bills don't go on hold, even if she has too - so we are hoping to help ease some of that financial stress by hosting a fundraising show at The Coronado PHX on Saturday, November 12th, 2016 https://www.facebook.com/events/323553898001449/
