Lisa Caswell was a loving, hardworking mother. She loved Burger King, ice cream sundaes, and Reese's cups. In her down time, she spent time with her daughter, her friends in the neighborhood, reading, or catching up on hit TV shows. She was sassy, funny, honest, and loving. She always pushed herself to work through the hardest of situations. She was so strong. Whether it was to support her daughter, her family, or her friends within the neighborhood, Lisa always went out of her way to make an extra effort. After the passing of her husband Frank, Lisa dedicated herself to making sure her daughter, Leanna, was always well-provided for and supported. Lisa suddenly passed away on the morning of Wednesday, December 6th 2017. Leanna Caswell, a beloved sister, friend, and student of Seton Hall University tragically lost her mother. Leanna is a dedicated student. She is currently working to become a Special Education teacher. In her time at school, she works hard to give back to the community by teaching children how to swim and participating in service events through Alpha Gamma Delta. Leanna is one of the strongest, self-less, and truest people on this planet. She resembles her mother in this way. She has touched so many lives through her ability to be understanding and personable. She is fun-loving, outgoing, and the best friend a person could ask for.

In memory of Lisa and all of her efforts to support Leanna through and beyond any obstacle, we are asking for donations. These donations will go towards paying for service expenses, as well as supporting Leanna through her last year at Seton Hall.

Any amount that you can donate is greatly appreciated. If you cannot give, we ask that you say a prayer for Lisa and for Leanna to receive the upmost comfort and support during this time.

The viewing for Lisa will take place tomorrow (Friday, December 8th) from 4-8pm at Higgins Funeral Home in Watchung, NJ. The funeral will take place at 10am on Saturday, December 9th.
