Hi I'm Lindsey Peters and this April I will be taking part in my 17th (and final) Marathon in London, Having raised many thousands of pounds for many charities in over 30 years as a fitness instructor I actually got a ballot place for the TCS London Marathon this year. With the pressure off to raise a minimum fee I would like to try and raise some pennies for the amazing Parkinson's group I teach . The funds would go towards some exercise equipment ( light hand weights , exercise bands and balls) to enhance their seated exercise sessions. Exercise plays a vital part in managing this hideous disease for which there is no cure. The attending members are all beautiful , amazingly brave people and it is my privilege to play a small part in helping them. They all try so hard with the exercise, which also involves a lot of respect, love and laughter. For as long as they are able , so am I .
