Support Wendy's Girls Gabriella and Angelina

My name is Maricarole Swan, and not only was Wendy Albanese our neighbor but also a very dear friend. We met outside one morning over 15 years ago, while putting our garbage out at the curb, and have been friends ever since. Her girls, Gabriella and Angelina are my Leia and Luke's best childhood friends. Wendy, a single mother, worked in the medical field as a Respiratory Therapist, she was a caring, loyal, funny, kind, straight to point, all around extraordinary person. She always put others needs before her own, would never take anything or want to burden anyone with her problems.

It is with a very heavy heart, that on September 4th, Wendy at age 48, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly at her home. Her memory and legacy will forever be etched in our hearts. She leaves behind her daughters Gabriella and Angelina.

My family and I, humbly request your help in supporting Wendy's girls during this difficult time. Any donation, no matter the amount will help lessen the financial stress that comes with funeral expenses and with taking the time her daughters will need in order to grieve this profound loss.

Gabriella, a college student will now be responsible for taking on the role of guardian for Angelina who is a high school senior getting ready to graduate in December and start college in January. The girls want to continue residing in the loving home that they lived in with Wendy but are not financially stable at this time with everything that has happened.

There is no bigger loss, and her daughters will need the collective support of all family, friends, coworkers and community members to hold them up as they come to terms with this new reality.

All funds raised are being put into an account for Gabriella and Angelina.
