Wendy Lo Memorial

On May 22, Wendy Lo passed away after a courageous battle with cancer. Family, friends, colleagues, and community members are heartbroken by her passing. Wendy was vibrant, dedicated, and generous and knowing her was a true blessing.
I met Wendy in 3rd grade and got to share 37 years of friendship and adventure with her. She helped define friendship, trust, loyalty, and love for me. At times, I was lucky to tag along as a third sister to her and Nana.
Wendy was fun, sassy, caring, and well-loved by friends at Roosevelt Elementary, Jefferson Jr High, and San Gabriel High School. After graduating from UC Riverside, Wendy returned to be a teacher and then an instrutional specialist in the Alhambra School District.
Wendy and Jimmy also started their family around that time and have been active in the community ever since. They've helped coach, organize, and support the kids' various sports teams and the Temple City Sister City Association. Needless to say, Wendy was passionate about education, the community, and most of all- her family.
Many who love Wendy and her family have asked for ways to show their support. Ari is currently in college, with Darin and Zane following in the years ahead. This fund, set up in honor of Wendy’s memory, will be used to support her children's education.
