Wendy Needs Us: A Nurse's Toughest Test

Hello all:

I am writing to you today with a heavy heart, as our family is facing the toughest challenge we've ever encountered. My mother, Wendy Hinkle (Bullard), was recently diagnosed with stage four Hodgkin's Lymphoma. We are shocked, devastated, and at a loss for words as we navigate this new diagnosis. This news has placed tremendous financial strain on my mom, as she is very ill and unable to work.

Wendy is not only a single mother to three, but a grandmother to four beautiful grandchildren, a loving sister, daughter, and a dedicated nurse for over 30 years. She is the most hardworking, compassionate, and selfless person I know. She is the sole provider of the household, and being unable to work has made it extremely difficult to keep up with financial obligations.

Wendy has lived her life in full service of others, always willing to lend a hand to whoever needs it. My mom has a long road to recovery, and doctors have ultimately pulled her out of work, which is her only source of income.

We are setting up this GoFundMe on her behalf to help ease the financial burden, so she is able to focus on healing without added financial stress. We are reaching out to ask for your support, as all donations will go directly towards Wendy's medical bills as she starts chemotherapy, medications, rent, and all other living expenses.
