Wendy Walker

Thank you to anyone who has taken the time out of their day to take any sort of interest in our situation.

I, James, have created this GoFundMe on behalf of my mother, Wendy Walker. In late January, after suffering for months from headaches and other alarming symptoms, my mom went in for an MRI where they found a brain tumor in one of the frontal lobes of her brain. Needless to say, this came as quite a shock to her and our entire family. Her doctor immediately pulled her from work pending surgery, as any sort of strenuous activity would pose further risk to her condition.

The good news is that she has met with her brain surgeon, and he is very positive about her prognosis. He intends on removing the tumor entirely, assuming there are no further complications. We, of course, are beyond grateful knowing that my mom is in good hands and that the situation isn't any worse.

However, seeing as mom has already been out of work for over a month and faces another several months before she is able to work it again, it has put significant financial strain on her and my father, who is permanently disabled. They rely almost entirely on my mom's income for all of their bills and expenses, which given the loss of income and the medical expenses they continue to incur, are becoming harder and harder to cover.

Any funds raised for my mom would go directly to her immediate needs (groceries, heat/electric, gas, etc.) and her medical bills.
