Wendy's battle with cancer

Meet Wendy,

A daughter, sister, wife, mother and nanny. As many people know, Wendy is one of the most kind-hearted, individuals you'll meet. Wendy is a mother of 7 and a nanny 3 and has been hit with some of the hardest news anyone could imagine.

Wendy lost her son in 2011 to cancer, and now at the young age of 51, she has to deal with her battle with pancreatic cancer. In September 2022, Wendy was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Things were progressing extremely fast, and she has gone downhill. Chemotherapy treatment needed to be stopped as Wendy is just far too weak, unfortunately. I'm hoping she can use everything in her to keep fighting.

Everyone is hoping for a miracle, but when the time comes, I want my dad to have financial stability, to keep a roof over his head in this hard time, and to be able to pay off the mortgage as the two had always hoped, to eventually give mum the send-off she deserves.

As Wendy's daughter, I'm finding this very hard to write, but I'm hoping people can find it in their hearts to give a little this Christmas and New Year.
