Wendy’s Reconstruction Surgery

Hi, I’m Wendy Pribble and I’m raising money to help with the cost of Wendy’s reconstruction surgery.

As most of you know, she has really been through so much in the last 7 years. In 2015, she went in for what should have been a very common surgery. Unfortunately, the doctor performing the surgery stitched her up too tight which caused tissue to die.  Wendy became extremely sick and we almost lost her. She spent 23 days in the hospital and was able to recover and come home. However, the doctor caused a great deal of damage both physically and emotionally.

For the next 6 years, her and her lawyers, fought to hold the doctor accountable. She finally got her day in court a couple of week’s ago and lost her case against the Doctor.

Wendy was hoping that she would be able to use the money that she would have gotten to have reconstruction surgery to fix the damage the doctor caused.

As unfortunate as it was that she lost her court battle, there came a blessing. The specialist that she saw in Lafayette, Louisiana when she was preparing for court, heard about her losing her court case and offered to do the reconstruction surgery at No Charge!! Amazing huh!!

Although the surgery will be done at no charge, there are still expenses that she will need to cover. She will need money for the plane ticket, help with meals, the Uber to get her back and forth, the anesthesia and the hospital.

The anesthesia and hospital cost alone is $3500 and must be paid upfront by June.
