Iowa Derecho Relief

On August 10th, 2020, a derecho ripped through miles of central Iowa, causing billions of dollars worth of damage. One community that was hit especially hard is my hometown of Marion and Cedar Rapids.

While so much has been done to recover from the storm in the last month and a half, there’s still a long way to go.

I am raising money to benefit the United Way of East Central Iowa. UWECI is distributing funds to non profits in the area that are providing relief in many different areas of need. (Basic needs such as diapers and food, electrical repairs to homes and immediate security deposits for those not eligible for housing assistance, PPE for disaster responders, and much more)
