We're Moving Back to Seattle

Jate and I joined Travis and Hal on a cross country journey from the big city of Seattle to blink and you'll miss it small town Jay Maine.  This was a lifelong dream for Travis and a return home for Hal.  As for Jate and I the change has been a hard one to make.  Jate remains unemployed out here and though my personal training business is doing better than one might assume I'm not even scraping by. 

We are planning the move for March 25th(ish) and have decided that it would be cheaper to do it all in one trip than fly out, establish ourselves and then come back in a year. 

The financial breakdown is about
$2,200 to rent a truck and trailer to tow my car (less gas and wear on the car)
$1,000 for gas for the truck
$800 for the first month's rent
$200 for boxes
$500 for hotels on the drive (although that may already be taken care of)
And go fund me fees

Total: $6,200

Jate may be able to scrape in some money for the move but there are no guarantees.

Every little bit helps, neither of us really are the type to ask for this kind of help and I cannot emphasize enough how greatful we are.
