WE ARE RAISING FUNDS TO HELP OUR ANIMALS!

Greenacres Animal Park is a family-run animal park in Mancot, North Wales - covering 80 acres and home to over 50 animal species! Despite dedicated staff and excellent care, a significant drop in visitors this year has made it challenging to survive the quieter winter months. We’re committed to improving the park for both animals and visitors; maintaining high welfare standards, striving to enrich the animals day to day lives as best we can and making it a memorable place for families and friends to return. Being home to exotic, farm, rescued and especially our endangered animals; our goal is to stay open to continue our conservation efforts, educate the public, and most importantly to give our animals the best life they could possibly have!

Greenacres Animal Park has always been home to the wilder things in life, starting as a dairy farm and evolving into what it is today. It was taken over by new owners in 2013 and the park has gotten by with the busy foot fall, but since covid started the park has seen their visitor numbers deplete at a rate that is now becoming less and less sustainable! All income made from tickets and experiences goes straight back into funding for our animals providing food, shelter, vet bills, heating, staff wages and enrichment. With all bills vastly rising each year we’re not sure how we will sustainably survive.

The money we receive will also benefit upgrading enclosures, we have a vast amount of plans we want to carry out in the coming years!

- Consider donating to us via our go fund me

- Come and see us in the park and support us while learning about our animals. We have two options available, our Gold ticket which includes extra activities such as a tractor ride (in season), a meet and greet and access around our park all day. Our Silver ticket includes full access to the park to enjoy a calming walk at your own leisure while learning about our animals from our well educated staff

- Consider joining in on our park activities such as keeper for a day, animal experiences and many more. In our animal experiences we offer a great opportunity to get up close and personal with a choice of Hybrid Wolf, Meerkat, Lemurs, Marmoset and many more to choose from! Our keeper for a day includes from 2-5 hours depending on the age of the participant and will include several animal encounters through the day at the choice of the individual

- Buy one of our adoption packs and help to support your favorite animal in the park

- Attend one of our seasonal events (halloween, christmas, goat bottle feeding and tractor ride)

- Look at our amazon wishlist and pick from a variety of items that would benefit our residents

- We accept food donations at our park at our donation point located just outside the gate, we also accept clothing donations too in our dedicated bin in the car park
