World Championship Box Lacrosse - USA 09-2024

Hi all, my name is Dali van Enst and I (along with my teammates) will represent the Netherlands at the World Championship Box Lacrosse!

Some background information on my experience regarding lacrosse: I have played field lacrosse with the Rotterdam Jaguars for almost 4 years now. With this team we won the first division championships of the Netherlands twice in a row and came second at the Ken Galluccio Cup (champions league of european lacrosse) last year. Next to playing for the Jaguars, I have also been part of the national development team (WDNT B) and in an attempt to broaden my lacrosse experience even more I decided to go in a bit of a different direction and joined the Dutch Box Lacrosse team!

To give my followers a bit of an idea of what field lacrosse is and what box lacrosse is: Women's field lacrosse is a fast-paced team sport played on a grass field, involving running and passing a small rubber ball with a stick to score in the opposing teams goal. The contact is similar to basketball. Box lacrosse, on the other hand, is played in an indoor arena with a smaller playing area. It's a physically intense version of lacrosse, known for close-quarters play and quick transitions.

This year I have the opportunity to participate with the World Championship Box Lacrosse in the States, so for this experience I am expected to raise about 5.000 euro to pay for the costs of the trip, stay and the tournament itself. So I will take any help I can take to help realize this.
