Wes Roberson and Family

As many of you know, Wes Roberson has been battling cancer again recently. We have had many requests as to how to help out. We have decided this is the best way so the word can be spread far and wide. Wes, Stacey, Cannon and Kyle are a wonderful, loving, special family. To know them is to love them!

Wes has been an IBEW Journeyman Lineman for many, many years. I personally have worked with Wes at Missouri Valley for multiple years, but before that he was working in the field all over the country. There isn’t a state that Wes doesn’t have a story about! And believe me, he has some good stories!

Wes is fighting CNS(central nervous system) Lymphoma, which is a rare blood cancer. He had chemotherapy and a stem cell transplant, but unfortunately the cancer came back earlier this year. He has tried 2 different chemo therapies since the cancers return, but the cancer figured those out. He is now onto radiation, which is promising because his tumor is in the split of his brain halves. He will also be on a new trial medicine that has worked very well eradicating Lymphoma.

Wes’ treatments are done at Mayo in Minnesota, so there have and will be many long trips and stays away from home. Anything will help them out, if you aren’t able to donate, please keep the Roberson’s in your thoughts and prayers. We are patiently waiting to have Wes back in the office and being his ornery self again!
