My father Wesley Stauffer was born and raised in Chaffee County. He has helped family and friends all his life. He would give the shirt of his back to help someone in need. Over the years he had taken in children that were not his own to make sure they had a better future for tomorrow.

Would always help a sour situation with his humor and good manner. A light of everyone's day. He can make a joke just to see you smile or a funny face to cheer you up.

This man has been the glue that holds us all together. His grandkids love him for his silly faces. Chasing them around for a game of tag. Screaming with delight or snuggle down for a nap with story time and a song.

My father has the biggest heart and the warmest welcome. We are so blessed to have an amazing person like him in our life.
