Wesley Wayne Wynkoop was born August 2nd, 1970
Wesley was known and beloved by many- not because he was in any particular clubs or groups, but because he was hard to forget once you met him. You may have met him while you were broke down on the side of the road, because he would always stop to see if he could help. Wesley has also been know to go buy the part for your vehicle, put it on, and get you going down the road. He believed in paying it forward and leave it better than you found it. This Wynkoop family loved doing events for their community and never asked for any money in their efforts. They enjoyed giving.
His wife Rene' has been the backbone of the house. She and Wesley raised 4 wonderful children with the same integrity, ethics, and morals. Rene' home schooled all 4 with the youngest at 16 still in school.
Wesley had a massive hemorrhagic stroke in 2018 and was not expected to survive. He did! As a result of the stroke, Wesley lost his job. They cashed his retirement to live on and go towards Wesley's care. Rene' became a full-time care giver on top of all her other responsibilities. As an amazing family unit, they all helped in the care of Wesley. Wesley was also the biggest fan of the Chiefs! It was a rarity to see him without a Chiefs hat or T-shirt.
The family needs a little help in paying for funeral services. Wesley did have a life insurance policy that was cancelled after losing his employment. Every little bit helps. You can donate here or there will be a "In lieu of flowers" donation on the Becker-Dyer-Stanton & O'Trimble Funeral Home when they post Wesley's obituary. Thank you.
