West Carteret Wrestling Team

The West Carteret High School (WCHS) Wrestling Team and Bull Sharks Graplers Wrestling Club are fundraising for the upcoming season! This year is an exciting year for our women wrestlers, as North Carolina has now made women’s wrestling an official sport! Our fundraiser is for men's team, women's team and our club! While the normal season takes place during the winter months, the wrestling club provides opportunities for our athletes to train and compete in year-round competitions both as a team and individually.

Your donations will help the WCHS wrestling team will assist with lodging for out-of-town competitions, getting our women’s team up and running, and elevating the men’s team with singlets, extra trainers and more wrestling mats. Additionally, we’d like to update our sound system in the wrestling room and renovate our single-person bathroom.

Your donations will also help the Bull Sharks Wrestling Club to directly offset registration fees and lodging for all off season competitions. Furthermore, nearly two dozen WCHS wrestlers and coaches will attend a week of intensive training at the Mizzou TigerStyle Wrestling Camp located at the University of Missouri. This camp is imperative to our training and success.
