West Star Ranch is now the largest private no-kill animal rescue in Southern Nye County. Unlike the County shelter, the Ranch receives no government grants or support. However, animals are coming to West Star in large numbers because of our no-kill policy and solid reputation for serving our community since 1995.
We've decided that in order to house the additional animals in need, we must replace our Thrift Store, which provides much of the funding to feed and care for our dogs and cats. All of the funds generated by the Store go directly to the dogs and cats who make the Ranch their temporary (or sometimes forever) home.
We have created this page hoping to raise money to fund the changes required to enable the Ranch to care for more animals in need. Your help is sincerely appreciated!
