West Virginia State Trooper Cory Maynard

This fundraiser is created for Cory’s loving wife Rachel and their two beautiful children Zoe and Finn.

Tragically, West Virginia State Trooper Cory Maynard was shot and killed in line of duty on June 2, 2023. Cory dedicated 15 years of service to multiple counties throughout the State of West Virginia.

On June 2, 2023 Cory responded to a call of shots fired in Mingo County. The 29-year-old suspect opened fire on Cory, striking him. Life saving efforts were performed on Cory. Sadly, he passed.

Trooper Maynard was with the WVSP since 2007. He served multiple regions and was awarded the Life Saver Award in 2015. His personality and love for life & laughs was contagious. If his life’s path crossed yours, your life is undoubtedly better for it.

Let’s help Cory’s wife Rachel raise their daughter Zoe and their son Finn without financial burden; in life we should give. Rachael previously gave a kidney to a life in need, and now it is our time to help her and their son and daughter.

There is beauty that can come from this tragedy as a community. They deserve our help.
