Max Gonzalez is a 14 year old boy in Orlando, Florida who was recently stricken with cerebelar mutism - a form of brain cancer. For Max to have a chance at a full recovery and a normal life he has had to undergo brain surgery which has left him paralyzed from the neck down and has taken away his speech.  In addition, Max is contininuing to undergo chemotherapy with the hope of eliminating the cancer all together.  Max's hospital bills are enormous and his family has suffered a catastrophic financial hardship during the process of saving Max's life.
