Help Ice Hockey Hopefulls Develop Life Skills

We are raising funds for the Westchester Express (birth year 2003) ice hockey team playing out of Brewster, NY. This team is filled with some of the most talented and devoted 8 year old hockey players New York State has to offer at this age group. This unique bunch of young athletes assembled from across Westchester/Putnam Counties and parts of Connecticut have an opportunity to accomplish with your help, great heights.  The coaches Walter Tumm & Bob Bongo have put in place a plan that will see them reach their fullest potential athletically and socially. Through ice hockey, these young athletes are learning life lessons that will take them far beyond the rink. Self-reliance, perseverance, commitment, work ethic, leadership and team work are all developed through ice hockey. Many of the boys on the team are not only gifted young athletes; many of the players are academically at the heads of their grade level in reading and math skills. These boys are so committed to ice hockey they often wake at the crack of dawn or before to play the game they love. In addition, ice hockey offers them the opportunity to travel to different states, stay in hotels and to bond with each other. They are passionate hard working kids who are learning about themselves through the game of ice hockey. This fundraiser will give you the opportunity to be a part of our team. Thank You!
