Westlake High Turf Field

If anyone has been to a Westlake Football game, or any other event held at the Westlake High Football Field, you will know - WE NEED A TURF FIELD! There is no way around it, and they have tried! Sod, seeding, watering, feeding, coddeling, singing...-EVERYTHING!! But alas, with clay dirt grass is not growin'! Having a turf field will allow not only football players a rockfree field to play on, but band, dance team, soccer, youth teams, and the community in general, a field to hold events, games, performanc
es, and other such festivities on, without the fear of injury or maming. Just like it is said, "it takes a villiage to raise a child", so it is with a turf field. We need the villiage to help, or in this case Saratoga Springs and Eagle Mountain. If everyone donated even $5.00 - we could reach the goal set forth by the school district. A turf field will cost in the ballpark of $500,000. The school district has asked that the school and community raise $80,000-$100,000. We are trying to get corporate sponsors as well, so if anyone works for a generous company that wants a nice tax write off and be praised by Westlake through all time - please contact us, and Coach Clements would love to get in front of them. So share this with neighbors, businesses, associates, EVERYONE-if you have a child that is going or will go to Westlake, a soccer player, football player, band member, cheerleader, dancer, we ask for your help.
