Westman Reptile Gardens fire

Unfortunately on April 21st, Candi and Dave Shelvey suffered a huge loss. The actual reptile gardens itself was not affected by the fire, however a total of 9 other buildings including the horse barn, the walk in freezer which was stocked full of feed for the reptiles, as well as the rodent building. We managed to save 29 cages of rats and 2 guinea pigs but that is only a small fraction compared to what perished in the fire. Insurance will cover the loss of the buildings but animals do not qualify for insurance. I started a go fund me page to try and help relieve the stress of money needed to restock the feed for the reptiles as well as replace some of the animals lost. We appreciate all the love and support we have received thus far. All of the emergency crews that came and put out the fire. All of the neighbours who showed up to help load horses and take the rats that were saved. We appreciate all the continued love and support.
