Westwood Baseball Team

Westwood Baseball Fans,

Westwood Redhawks baseball has grown tremendously over the last few years, and we are continuing to grow as an organization, and in developing well rounded young men. Westwood Baseball will be fielding 3 teams this season, with a Varsity, Junior Varsity, and B-Team, where historically we have only been able to field 2 teams.

We have been so fortunate and thankful for the support from our families, friends, local businesses and our school administration. The Redhawks are poised for a great season in 2022, returning all but 3 Varsity players. The expectations are high, with the playoffs in mind! The boys at all levels have been working extremely hard this summer and into the fall, dedicating themselves to getting better not only on the field, but in the weight room and through conditioning and agility. Their dedication and hard work has the Redhawks ready for the 2022 season!

As we continue to grow, so do the needs of our team. We are asking for your support! Our goal is to provide our teams with the best resources, ranging from our coaching staff, to our field, to our equipment. Specifically, we are raising funds for a machine that will allow our teams to conduct fielding practice with the coaches on the field with our players, giving real-time instruction and feed-back, as opposed to being stuck hitting balls to the boys. Having the coaches on the field with the boys during fielding practice will be an invaluable tool in maximizing our players development. Your support will have a positive impact on every player in our program!

The Westwood Baseball team has always tried to give back to our community as a thank you for all the support we have been given. The boys volunteer throughout the year to work numerous events in our town, learning valuable skills off the baseball field, and realizing self-worth through service to others. We as coaches strive to develop not only baseball players, but future pillars of community.
