We Support Coach G-32

The “We Support Coach G” contingency came together to create a groundswell of support for Coach Giarratano, demand clarity from the administration, and generate publicity around transparency and facts related to the incidents and allegations claimed in the lawsuit that aimed to destroy his livelihood, and reputation.

Nearly two years later the fight continues as Coach G continues to battle for his reputation. To us, it’s still outrageous that after 29 years of changing lives as USF Dons D1 Baseball coach, Coach G was unceremoniously fired. Coach is in a strong position to fight the wrongful termination but still needs our support.

We have all moved on with our lives, as well we should. Yet Nino and Brenda are still living this nightmare every day. It is hard to imagine how hopeless their situation must seem to them. They are fighting this battle and must feel very alone and isolated.

There is still such anger about the injustices levelled at Coach G by USF. Several alumni and parents, who have continued to emotionally support him, have learned his legal fees are mounting. His attorneys would like to introduce expert witnesses to quantify the damages incurred by his wrongful termination. For this critical piece of their case, additional monies are needed - funds the Giarratano

s do not have.

Numerous parents and alumni have financially contributed to Coach G to help with this fight. We all want to see this injustice rectified in Nino's favor. A GoFundMe account has been set up to offset the mounting attorneys fees. Only attorneys fees will be paid with these funds.
