We've got Dan MacQueen's back!

This fundraiser is being organised by Brendan Boston and Jordan Eversen, two of Dan's close mates.

If you know Dan and Naomi MacQueen, you would know that they spend their lives serving and giving to others. Now, is the time for their community to come together and for the MacQueens to be the ones receiving some help.

This week, Dan had a serious fall. In true Dan style, he got up and soldiered on for a bit before getting to the hospital. In reality, Dan has a three-way break in his neck (C6) and two compression fractures in his back. It's a big deal.

Dan has been fitted with a halo brace and is very restricted in his movements for about 3 months. At this very early stage things are looking good, and there is so much to be thankful for. Doctors suspect Dan might be able to go back to work in six months 'if he behaves himself'.

That's why we have created this fundraiser, to limit the financial burden on the family from loss of income and medical costs as much as possible, so that Dan can focus 100% on his healing journey.

Dan is self-employed and this is not covered by insurance. Naomi works for a not-for-profit.

Dan and Naomi are absolutely amazing parents/foster-parents to their four beautiful children and they have continued to demonstrate such faith and trust through this. There is so much to be thankful for, so many 'could-haves' and 'what-ifs' that Dan was protected from.
