This week Debbie VanSickle was taken to hospital after developing a serious infection as a result of a bug bite. This necessitated two surgeries to remove flesh and infection. Deb was put into a medical coma and placed on a ventilator. Luckily she is now conscious and had the ventilator removed yesterday.
However, the road to recovery will be a long and arduous one for her. As you can imagine, the past year has been hard on Debbie as it has been for so many of us. We are therefore raising money to support her in her recovery. No one dealing with serious medical issues should have the additional worry and anxiety due to financial issues.
