We've kept his brain alive. Now we need YOUR help

Hello friends, Station Manager Ken Freedman here.
On April 26th, our beloved friend, DJ, and blender aficionado Bryce Kretschmann suffered an awful motorbike accident in Newark, NJ.
Bryce lost part of his lip, fractured his jaw, lost five teeth and fractured several others. One of his teeth lodged itself into his jaw from the impact. His jaw is wired shut, and after ten days, he has perfected a clench-jawed, Jim Backus-esque style of diction. You may have noticed that John Allen has been doing Bryce's show; this is why.
The worst part of this story is that Bryce works as a freelancer and has no health insurance of any kind. Your generous donations will help defray the costs of Bryce's emergency room visits. his multiple surgeries and his future dental and periodontal work.
Amazingly, Bryce is in good spirits. But he needs our help. Please give generously.
The initial goal of this campaign by no means represents the estimate of what Bryce's reconstructive procedures will cost. The estimated total costs will be many multiples higher than the original goal.
(Donations to this campaign are not tax deductible and are not related in any way to WFMU. 100% of the proceeds, minus the optional gofundme donation, will go directly to Bryce.)
