Several weeks ago, this page was created in order to raise money for Georgia; a brave little girl with cancer.
A group of police officers from Bolton decided they would run two marathons in two days in order to raise money to spend on a list of activities that Georgia wanted to do.
It is therefore with great sadness that we are updating this page with the news that Georgia passed away on Wednesday 16 December 2015.
Georgia was such a brave little girl and an inspiration to us all, she will be missed dearly.
We will be continuing with the the marathon challenge, which will take place on 20 and 21 February 2016, however the money raised will go to Georgia's family and also to help other children like Georgia.
