Colin Roy's Medical Fund
Donation protected
It’s very rare that this person I am about to tell you about will ever ask anyone for help, but he is one of the most giving people you could meet. Always ready to help someone in need, well right now he could use some help.
Colin Roy is a19 year public service employee with EMSA ambulance service in Oklahoma City. On October 9th, 2015 Colin was running an errand on his motorcycle and was involved in an accident, (no fault of his), where he was hurled through the air and sustained significant injuries. By the grace of God he was wearing his helmet, or it could have been a different story. However he was transported to OU trauma center and it was determined he had a sprained right ankle, a open wound the size of a 50 cent coin in his left knee and additional injury undetermined at this time (still waiting for orthopedic evaluation), three broken ribs at the back, and a large hematoma to the left hip. After spending the night in the trauma center he was released to go home in his wife’s care.
Well time has passed and he is healing but luck was not completely on his side for unfortunately the individual that caused the accident had no insurance so here we come to the request for help for Colin. Due to this incident he is facing a number of large financial burdens, which with loss of pay due to time lost from work, hospital and medical bills, normal living expenses, repairs to motorcycle, (if it isn’t totaled), etc.
Anyone that has been in a similar situation, or knows someone that has will realize the extra worry this puts on one that is trying to recover, and get their life back in order and on schedule. I will end this request for any help possible by starting the fund off with a $100 donation.
Thank you in advance for your consideration, kindness, and generosity.
