I am starting this go fund me to help Wes, Natalie and their children Liam and Whitley. I met Natalie over 20 years ago in High School. We became fast friends, and I have watched Natalie grow into an amazing mother and wife. Over the last few years, a number of hardships have been dealt to Natalie and Wes.

In 2014 their son, Liam underwent a year of Chemotherapy for an Optic Pathway Glioma. In 2015 Whitley had some medical concerns and it was discovered she too had an Optic Pathway Glioma as well as a Brain Stem Glioma. Natalie has been the primary caretaker of the children, making sure they make it to all of their medical appointments at Mayo Clinic as well as Children's Minnesota, this has been Natalie full time job since the birth of Liam in 2010.

In the years since 2015 the children have had quarterly MRIs and meetings with an amazing Oncology team. In 2020, it was decided that both kids needed Chemotherapy. Liam completed Chemo therapy in 2021. Whitley also started chemotherapy in 2020, after 1 year she needed to switch chemotherapy treatments for a 2nd year. Now, after 8 months, it has been decided that Whitley will need to try a 3rd Chemotherapy. They are running out of health insurance and their already massive medical debt will only grow from here.

To complicate matters, Wes was diagnosed with a progressive disease in 2012 that has now gotten to the point where he is unable to work since November of 2021.

Natalie is currently the sole caretaker of everyone and unable to work outside of the home.
